After finalize the internet marketing using email as a method to market websites section, I went on to the final section of my internet marketing report, which was different ways of doing web site marketing, not including the use of email marketing.

Similar to the internet marketing using email section of my report, I did my research for website marketing strategies and tips from the SBA website, where I found plenty of great resources and advice about website marketing. I have included some of the internet marketing ideas I found below:

According to information found at the website of the SBA, you should first update your site regularly by adding new features to your web site often. Secondly, for simple website marketing tactics, you should revise your website's "META tags" to make it easier for search engines to find (this also has some common factors with search engine marketing). Third, you should always try to offer Internet specials, such as discounts for orders placed online.

Other tips for website marketing by the Small Business Administration include: Host a message board on your web site with customer comments and questions, add small photos on opening pages that expand to full-size pictures only when clicked, tailor your choice of web features to your target market, avoid placing links that take viewers out of your web site too soon, and finally regularly view your competitors' web sites to learn from them what they do right and from their mistakes.
